Revival Series: Personal—“Know My Heart.”

  Soft heart—Psalm 34:18. God is near to the brokenhearted.

   “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” (Psalm 34:18, NLT)                

Sincere heart—Proverbs 4:23. Out of heart are the issues of life.

“Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” (Proverbs 4:23, NLT)

   Single heart—Colossians 3:22. Not being two-faced.

“Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything you do. Try to please them all the time, not just when they are watching you. Serve them sincerely because of your reverent fear of the Lord.” (Colossians 3:22, NLT)

  Steadfast heart—Hebrews 13:9. Unstable and led astray easily.

“So do not be attracted by strange, new ideas. Your strength comes from God’s grace, not from rules about food, which don’t help those who follow them.” (Hebrews 13:9, NLT)
