Revival Series: Purging
These verses were the prayer of David to God. This would be a good prayer for all Christians to pray. If we would pray this prayer, and mean it with all our hearts, THERE WOULD BE REVIVAL!
Notice three steps in purging our lives, hearts, and actions:
Psalm 139:23-24 (NLT)
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

Seeing the need for purging—Psalm 51:7. Purge me.
Psalm 51:7 (NLT) Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
Seeking the Lord for purging—Psalm 19:12. Cleanse me from secret faults. God sees in us what others do not see!
Psalm 19:12 (NLT) 1How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults.
Satisfaction after purging—Psalm 32:5. God forgiving our sin.
Psalm 32:5 (NLT) Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Interlude
Our Mission
To invite people to Jesus and membership in His family, develop them to Christlike maturity, prepare and coach them for their ministry in the church and life purpose in the world, in order to magnify God's name.
