Revival Series: Judgment Upon Sin

A.      The Sin—Genesis 6:1–16. Notice how man was continually sinful (v. 5). Also that God was sorry He made man (v. 6)!

a.       Genesis 6:5–6 (NKJV) — 5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.

B.      The Stubbornness—Genesis 6:3. Noah preached for 120 years, still man refused to accept God’s plan of escape.

a.       Genesis 6:3 (NKJV) — 3 And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.”

Pentz, C. M.
